Ability to use an external certified Timestamp API
Hello again
This function is i think essential for European users like me.
With the new eIDAS law which defines better the law arround the electronic signature, it appears to me that ApproveMe is "almost" okay to be used in a court.
The eIDAS specifies a "strong" law recognition of the Electronic Signature with an addition to US laws : Only some specific Companies are certified by an official certificate from a country member of the European Union to deliver certified timestamp (like www.universign.eu)
These organisation delivers Timestamp API (paid by contract timestamped).
That would be a very strong…

Two layers authentification by phone/SMS
It would be more convenient two have a functionnality that would permit the two layers authentification without the action of "giving" the code personnaly, but by a text message automatically directly to the signer.
Would that be a possibility to devellop ?2 votes -
Passing information through to Active Campaign
Didn't quite see this, but it would be awesome if the information we have clients fill in on their document and then sign (the same document) could then be passed through to Active Campaign to update the user or an of the other CRMs out there...It's just odd that it only allows tags, or adding to a list? Gravity Forms does this already...but going through the Gravity Forms add-on takes away the ability to customize the contract from a template, before sending it, and still be able to send it to more than one signee.
3 votesWe like this idea and will likely improve our this integration once 2.0 ships.

Insightly integration
Insightly is a widely used CRM with a well documented API. Being able to send documents from Insightly and then have a field in Insightly completed when the form is signed would be awesome.

Share documents between users
I created a stand alone document and it is working great getting signed.
We created another user, but when he logs into WordPress he cannot see those signed documents.26 votesWe love this feature idea and will likely get started on it once 2.0 ships.

Option to hide document name on signature page / pdf
Hello,
The document name appears on top of the signature page / pdf.
However some document might need more complex/different titles. Currently the user has to add the "true" document title in the document body.
Then it would be great to get the option to hide the document name in this case, to avoid confusing presentation for signers. Thanks,
Best regards,

Export data from signed waivers into an excel sheet
It's impossible to search for a name of a specific person who signed a waiver online. Instead of having to sift through potentially thousands of documents, there should be a way to export the data from each signed document, such as name of signer, phone, email, or anything else you collect in the waiver. That way, I can easily search for one waiver that I need to find within thousands.
Almost every other platform that collects information can do this.

Add parameters to URL redirect from form fields
Using the gravityforms add-on, I pass a hidden ID (that corresponds to the filename of a PDF that I redirect the user to after signature is completed).
It would be nice to append the gravityform field onto the URL redirect, such as...
http://bucket.s3.amazonaws.com/[esiggravityformid=1field_id=8].pdf
The purpose behind this is that I have hundreds of forms that I need people to sign before they can access them. Instead of creating hundreds of stand-alone wp e-signature forms, I made just one that passes along an id in the URL parameters.
It'd be nice to pass that ID to the URL redirect.
16 votesThanks Chris… we’re heavily considering and preparing our 2.0 with a user friendly API in mind. While I don’t yet have a release date it’s looking more and more like we’ll be able to start beta for the first phase of 2.0 sometime shortly after the holidays. The API will likely follow after the 2.0 release.

Have an option to insert All fields from Gravity Forms instead of one at a time.
Right now the only way to put your Gravity Form data on a eSignature document is to add individual fields one at a time. It would be a nice feature to add ALL fields at once from a Gravity Form.

Date and Currency Formats
The current date format (yyyy/mm/dd) would look better as mm/dd/yyyy. Also, if currency had the comma separation (1,500,000 instead of 1500000) it would be easier to read.

Document Styles
As it currently stands we're very limited in how we can style our Documents.
In order to add extra spacing we have to hit return multiple times, which in turn, generates a bunch of blank <p></p> tags. This is not great.
We also have no way to adjust the styles (size/color/padding etc.) of any of the default h1 - h6 tags. For example, I'm using h2 tags in my Document and come to find out those tags are way to big in comparison to the Document Title; which btw is using <p class="doc_title" instead of a more appropriate h1 tag.…
25 votesI agree with you guys 100%. We actually have already started rolling out a 3 phase project that will eventually introduce more document styliing options when creating a document using the plain text method.
We’re currently on the first phase (which is PDF upload Drag & Drop) once this is released and ready we’ll be adding some serious improvements to the plain text document creation process.
Thanks for the great feedback!

Retrieve Info from WP User File
Use MergeTags similar to Gravity Forms to pull info from a Users Wordpress Account.
View Details below for our use.
Use: New Hire Forms
Example:
Name: {user:display_name}
Job Title: {user:title}and so on.
Using the Meta data from a users profile allows for forms to be sent to the user for signature without requiring input from a document creator first.
Right now you have to make a blank fillable form and have your HR staff fill it out, sign it, and then the second signature be the new hire.
This will allow those fields to be pulled from their WP…

Multiple File Uploads From a Single File Upload Field
Please consider adding the ability for a Signer to upload multiple files from a single file upload field. We are using a stand alone document as an application and the number of files to be uploaded by each user varies widely depending upon what segment of service they are applying for.
10 votesThis is a great idea. I’ll be sure to share it with the development team and see what we can do.

Forms by Group
Have different targeted groups for forms. For example, HR can send "these" documents, managers can send "these," etc. This would be perfect, if it is already a capability then awesome and I am just missing it.
1 voteActually I just re-read your request and you can currently do this with our “Templates” and “User Roles” add-ons. With both of these add-ons installed simply create a NEW TEMPLATE and share it with a specific ROLE (or WP User).

Single Product Variable Pricing
I have WP E-Signature add-on for Easy Digital Downloads. I have multiple pricing options for a single product. Currently only one contract may be assigned to a single product. Based on the customer's selection of price a different contract may be required. Please allow unique contract selection for certain pricing options.
4 votesHi Albert thanks for getting in touch and thank you for taking the time to request this feature. I can definitely see how valuable it would be in the event that a user needs a specific contract signed for each variable product that’s purchased.
I’ve forwarded your request to our dev team, where it is currently under review. It looks they are planning on adding this once they can work out some modifications to the user experience workflow (since it will affect a couple things).
I’ll be sure to update you once we know more.
Kind Regards,
Kevin at ApproveMe

logo size
The custom logo in the email is way to small, and it appears to be fixed regardless of the image size we upload. Please re-size it so that it is a more appropriate size relative to the remainder of the email template.

Be able to Edit After Invitations are sent.
I have several instances after negotiations that small tweaks need to be made to the document but I see no way to currently do that after the invitations have gone out without deleting the document and recreating it with the changes.
