  2. Shortcode to Insert a Signature Box wherever I Want

I have a form that requires multiple signatures, and it would be ideal if I could have a shortcode to insert a signature box wherever I want, and support multiple signatures per document.

Would be nice with some kind of documentation or API so that we can make an API integration.

  4. Add multiple Signers to Standalone forms

The standalone form is great becuase it truly allows you to get signatures completed on documents online, however it doesn't address the issue that i have multiple parties required to sign each of my documents. Take a lease for example or another contract which has muliple parties... -> Like docusign, an email should be sent to the 2nd, 3rd, ... parties to "generate a login" and/or sign the documents as a guest.

    User Story Description
As a {admin} user, I need {the ability to sync my signed documents real-time as they are signed with my Google Drive account} so that {I can more efficiently store and backup my signed documents}.

    User Story Acceptance Criteria
    - The admin user has the ability to authenticate their Google Drive account from the WP E-Signature settings page.

    • The Google Drive sync add-on will add a new "Google Drive Sync" tab to the WP E-Signature plugin when installed.

    • Once installed and authenticated a license key will need to entered in order for the plugin to work.

  6. Custom CSS for document signing page

The document signing page does not match my brand at all.

My website is dark themed... nuff said.

Add ability for custom CSS please.

And don't give me the, "blah blah it won't be recognized in court" excuse like last time.

Changing the colors of a page will not effect that at all.

Additionally, having 'WP E-Signature by Approve Me - Sign Documents Using Wordpress -' as the printed document header is gross and unnecessary and will also not effect anything court related.

The 404 error page where you shamelessly plug your brand in again is a giant smfh moment.

We have indeed been working on 2.0 for a while. We were initially planning on releasing it 100% as a fully WordPress ran application… and got very very close to doing so; however, similar to the PCI compliance industry (i.e. the industry that regulates accepting credit cards online) there’s been an uprising of laws and regulations in the document signing industry.

So while we are very close to having 2.0 release ready we’re in the process of having to re-architect the API and set it up to run a portion of the application in our cloud while still maintaining the overall customer experience so everything still feels seamless and like it’s all taking place on YOUR site. As such there’s still some backend changes that we are quickly working to mitigate.

The good news is the team is continuing to develop the final screens that remained however, it will realistically…

  8. How can someone sign PDF documents

    Hi,
I already have PDF documents created by a different software, I need end user to sign the pdf documents in the signature area that is already in the pdf document. Is there any way I can ask end user sign to that specific pdf document in the specific area. All softwares such sa docusign, esignlive and others allow pdf documents to be signed in the signature field.

  9. Signer "Initials" Acknowledgement Input Field

In addition to a final signature, many contracts require the signer to acknowledge certain portions of a contract as well as entire pages by adding their initials in one or more locations through out the contract. For example, Real Estate offers have many initial locations. E-Signature needs this capability. Need a signer "Initials" input field capability.

Include the Initials in the signature selection dialog when beginning to sign a new document.

hey guys… this Kevin the founder chiming in. I can definitely see the value in having this feature. And agree it is a very pivotal one.

ApproveMe has been quietly working on adding this feature… however, it will likely be introduced in our first front-end PDF upload roll out which is still a couple months away.

I apologize for the delay but we have devoted 100% of our (NEW) development resources to building out this plugin into a Wordpress powered application which will be MUCH MORE powerful and customizable than just your “old wordpress” plugin.

Because of this… it’s taken a little longer to add these smaller features… but I assure you the new version will not disappoint :-) Thanks for the great feedback.

  10. Conditional logic

Hi there. Do you have any plans to introduce conditional logic (Gravity Forms style) for content blocks in a document template? This would be a killer feature in my view. Perhaps you could even integrate Gravity Forms and approveme in some way, perhaps through a Zapier integration?

  11. Add template fields for outgoing Basic documents

Similar to "signer fields" via the add-on, it would be great to specify fields that you could customize per Basic document you send out.

For example, your contract template looks like:

    "Hi, %name%

By signing this document, you agree to an initial payment of %field1% and thereafter a monthly payment of %field2% with a payment date on the %field3% day of the month.
    ..."

The %fieldx% placeholders could appear in multiple different places within the template, some of them several times each.

Then when you send the document to be signed, the fields that appear in the template would appear…

  12. Remove Audit Trail from Signers view

When a signer views their document, they can see the Audit Trail and it even saves with the PDF option and is visible when printed. This is an unnecessary area for the signee to see. It also looks unprofessional on the document.

In addition, it would be fantastic if ApproveMe limited their promotion on the documents and email to the signees. It would be great if we could add our own logo to the email so that it appears to come from our company and not ApproveMe.

I understand that ApproveMe is new and you want to promote yourselves, but…

We are currently reworking our entire audit trail to include signer ids, barcode security, etc. While it would be nice to remove the audit trail this is one of the MANY features that substantiate the legality of contracts (when under review in a courtroom).

  13. Allow Signer to Delegate or Decline Signing

I am used to Adobe Esign which allows signers to sign, delegate or decline.

Here is a link to their video demonstrating this ability: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/how-to/adobe-delegate-signing.html

One key benefit would be that this allows signers to terminate the automatic reminder emails in an alternative, more productive way than marking the emails as spam.

  14. Ability to use an external certified Timestamp API

    Hello again

This function is i think essential for European users like me.

With the new eIDAS law which defines better the law arround the electronic signature, it appears to me that ApproveMe is "almost" okay to be used in a court.

The eIDAS specifies a "strong" law recognition of the Electronic Signature with an addition to US laws : Only some specific Companies are certified by an official certificate from a country member of the European Union to deliver certified timestamp (like www.universign.eu)

These organisation delivers Timestamp API (paid by contract timestamped).

That would be a very strong…

  15. Styling

Some simple styling options would be fantastic. For example, the ability for a user to assign a class or id to a created field would be great. My form I needed to create is large and complicated with LOTS of input fields. In order for it to look even remotely structured I had to add a lot of html into the page manually and then add CSS into the plugins asset files.

Pretty complicated for just wanting my form layout to look nice.

  16. Create Documents With Form Layout

ApproveMe works well with text contracts but there are occasions when a form layout is needed e.g. Job Application, Mortgage etc. that has user fillable fields

Hence when creating a document, it would be helpful if a form layout or similar could be used.

  19. Export data from signed waivers into an excel sheet

It's impossible to search for a name of a specific person who signed a waiver online. Instead of having to sift through potentially thousands of documents, there should be a way to export the data from each signed document, such as name of signer, phone, email, or anything else you collect in the waiver. That way, I can easily search for one waiver that I need to find within thousands.

Almost every other platform that collects information can do this.

  20. Document Styles

As it currently stands we're very limited in how we can style our Documents.

In order to add extra spacing we have to hit return multiple times, which in turn, generates a bunch of blank <p></p> tags. This is not great.

We also have no way to adjust the styles (size/color/padding etc.) of any of the default h1 - h6 tags. For example, I'm using h2 tags in my Document and come to find out those tags are way to big in comparison to the Document Title; which btw is using <p class="doc_title" instead of a more appropriate h1 tag.…

I agree with you guys 100%. We actually have already started rolling out a 3 phase project that will eventually introduce more document styliing options when creating a document using the plain text method.

We’re currently on the first phase (which is PDF upload Drag & Drop) once this is released and ready we’ll be adding some serious improvements to the plain text document creation process.

    Thanks for the great feedback!

    Kind Regards,
