  1. Trashed Contracts Should Be Unsignable

It is possible to sign and complete trashed contracts. This should not be the case as otherwise it is not possible to stop a contract from proceeding.

    To replicate:

Create a contract with one or more parties
    Send it
    Trash it
It is possible to sign it via the link sent by email.
If all parties sign, the contract closes.

This in my view is a serious bug as you should be able to stop a contract from being signed.

    Hey There!

I hope you’re having a great week so far. Thanks for your message! :)

After some testing, it appears that you are correct: currently ‘trashed’ document are able to be signed.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention! We definitely don’t promise to be a perfect, bug-free plugin, but we will absolutely do what we can do resolve bugs when they do pop up.

Our development team has resolved this internally and is looking to add this security measure to our next update. Yay!

Please let me know if you have any additional thoughts / questions on this by emailing me at curious@approveme.com.

Thanks again for your help improving our plugin! Have an awesome rest of your week!

  2. Automating the Invitation

I would really like to be able to automate the sending of the Invite after a prospect registers on my site. Perhaps this is already possible but I have not been able to find a way to accomplish this.

  3. Automating the Invitation

The idea is simple. Create a registration form where upon the signing parties enter their legal name and email then send an invite automatically with their information prefilled. This would be perfect for stand-alone NDA's and Confidentiality Agreements.

  7. Show eSign Page after Woocommerce "Place Order" button clicked

Please add an option to show the esign page after the "Place Order" button has been clicked. This is for payment options that do not accept payment at the time of order, such as COD or mail check payment.

  9. Page Breaks within a multi page document

Many documents have several places to sign and currently these "packets" have to be broken up into several documents. I would like to see the ability to create multi page documents with multiple signing locations, maybe before each page break.

    Esig-page-break] page break shortcode:
We recently introduced a powerful shortcode [esig-page-break]. As the document creator you can now easily add a page break to your document using this shortcode. Insert [esig-page-break] anywhere in your document, if you would like to split up the content onto a new page (when the document has been signed) and our digital platform will detect the new page break and automatically add whatever content is beneath the shortcode to a new document page.

  10. my Docs area for clients

my clients, and clients of my clients, often have repeat business with customers who have a need to sign new contracts often and want to review the previous contracts they have signed.

A Signed Documents / or My Documents front end page would be great for logged in users to see all their signed documents. Other plugins have this and it would be a great addition to yours

We have a pretty sweet Document Portal feature. You can read all about it here… https://www.approveme.com/wordpress-document-portal/

You just need to insert the “signed” shortcode on the page you want to display the users signed contracts on.

However, you will need to FIRST have the option selected prior to sending out contracts for signature. So this will ONLY work if you choose the option to enable the wordpress document portal.

  11. CC recipients to be able to view contract BEFORE it being signed

Right now, anybody being CC'd on the contract can't view the document before it is signed, making the e-mail notification completely useless. There should be a link in the e-mail for them to view (but not sign) it.

  12. Woocommerce order details to contract

We need to be able to use shortcode to insert only certain pieces of the woocommerce order data into the document, such as first and last name. We can't do business with the current set up, and the only reason our company went with WP E-Signature was because a sales rep said we could do exactly that, but a CSR told us otherwise, after purchasing a business license...

We silently added this feature in 1.5.0. If you scroll over the signer Input Fields Pencil icon when creating your contract (with the Woo + Digital Signature add-on installed). You will now have the options to insert specific data points related to the woo experience.

  14. Calendar in the Custom Fields Add-on; automatically fill in the current date?

I set up the plugin for a client's bar, and they have customers who need to sign their contract before they can ride their mechanical bull. Can we speed up the process by auto-filling the current date in the calendar from the Custom Fields Add-on? If not, is there an alternative?

  15. Premium extensions should automatically update rather than one at a time.

So painful to do them one at a time on multiple sites.

  16. Readable Filenames for Contract Documents

It would be nice to append the contract title to documents. As it stands, when I look at the PDFs I have no idea what contract it's for unless I open it. You tell me, which contract is for the lincoln center theater project? https://digisavvycdn.s3.amazonaws.com/WP_E-Signature_-_Sync_-_Dropbox_2016-03-23_10-51-24.png =)

As of now, when a contract is signed it goes to admin email. It would be nice to automatically go to additional emails automatically.

  18. Document Sender Fields

Add "input fields" that could be populated by the SENDER (not the signer) before sending out for a signature.

Or E-Sign could be design to work with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) allowing the Super Admin to create template posts that the SENDER would need to fill out before sending.

We currently have form integrations with Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, WP Forms, Formidable, Caldera Forms and Contact Form 7. You can setup a form to esignature workflow and trigger email invitations to the signer after the form submitter fills in the fields.

  19. Present Lengthy Forms for Signature

Do not force users to be presented with a lengthy document for signature in the web page, but rather allow user to open, view, download, print a .pdf file and then return to the main page to complete requested fields and sign.

We already have this feature. If you are logged into your WordPress dashboard and click “E-Signature” → “Settings” → “Customization” you will see an option to “Display Save as PDF button ALWAYS no matter what” – http://screencast.com/t/1YMhNZw7ITVH

This would be the option you would want to select. You also have the option to override this setting in each document (while creating your document) by scrolling to the bottom of the document clicking “Advanced Document Settings”

  20. Populate Stand Alone Forms with existing Customer Data from WordPress/Woocommerce!

While the customer is logged in and then they click and enter a Stand Alone Form populate the form fields with the existing Customer/Order Data from WordPress/Woocommerce! e.g. Name, Address, Phone, Product Sold, Amount Sold, etc... so that information doesn't have to be entered all over again.
