Signer "Initials" Acknowledgement Input Field
In addition to a final signature, many contracts require the signer to acknowledge certain portions of a contract as well as entire pages by adding their initials in one or more locations through out the contract. For example, Real Estate offers have many initial locations. E-Signature needs this capability. Need a signer "Initials" input field capability.
Include the Initials in the signature selection dialog when beginning to sign a new document.
hey guys… this Kevin the founder chiming in. I can definitely see the value in having this feature. And agree it is a very pivotal one.
ApproveMe has been quietly working on adding this feature… however, it will likely be introduced in our first front-end PDF upload roll out which is still a couple months away.
I apologize for the delay but we have devoted 100% of our (NEW) development resources to building out this plugin into a Wordpress powered application which will be MUCH MORE powerful and customizable than just your “old wordpress” plugin.
Because of this… it’s taken a little longer to add these smaller features… but I assure you the new version will not disappoint :-) Thanks for the great feedback.

We will be adding this feature to our 2.0 product. The screens are almost all finished and now we are focusing/finalizing the architecture of our API and new backend.

Any ETA update?

Still working on it... our 2.0 release has turned out to be a MAJOR MAJOR release that has resulted in completely rewriting the plugin from the ground up. So it's taken a little longer than expected... I have been told that we almost have the backend connected to the front-end which means we are looking on schedule for a release (hopefully) after the holidays.

Hi Kevin,
Just thought I'd check in on status of next release or beta release access :)
Thanks,
Paul -
Thanks Paul... we're working as fast as we can to get those features out. The team's making greta progress like I said we'll have a better idea of where we are with a delivery date (for beta testing) once they wrap up the first phase in a couple weeks...
Please stay in touch we'll likely be onboarding our current customers a handful at a time until it is ready to officially roll it out to all of our users.
Hope you have a fantastic summer in the meantime.

This is a very nice list. For us, beyond the simple "Initial here" capability :) We are VERY much interested in:
Conditional Logic
EMail Templates
Workflows - I am working on a larger automation workflow platform in which E-Signature is a pivotal component
Signer Import
Public API - YES! See workflows above.
Messaging between signers/sendersSo, can't wait. And will say again :) Any chance we can beta test, I am in!
-
We'll still working how we're going to handle/position the pricing aspect for future customers and how to give value to our existing customers... off the top of my head it will include:
- Conditional Logic
- Customizable Email Templates
- The entire user experience will live in our own gorgeous UX/UI (we'll no longer be using the WordPress dashboard... but it will still be on your site) The new UI was built/designed by the designer that designed one of the top 5 largest email marketing CRM's on the internet (we're not allowed to say which one).
- PDF upload/drag and drop
- Advanced esignature workflows
- Conditional Logic for input fields
- Import signers from csv
- Initial Here field
- Multiple signature/initial pads on a document
- A publc API
- Zapier Add-on
- Document decline option
- Document messages between signers and sendersThese are all off the top of my head and not all of these will be rolled out all at once... but they are all the most pressing features and what the team is focusing on for the 2.0 release...

Hi Kevin, thanks for the quick response! Good to hear... I will touch base with you in a couple months - we are very much looking forward to this. In fact, the 2 month time frame could align well with another project I am working on. Will you be publishing any features lists before an official release?
-
Hey Paul the new version is looking SO SO GOOD! It's very user friendly. I can hardly wait to share it with you guys. Our 2.0 team will be delivering the first phase (of a multi-phase roll out) end of the month. We will likely spend a couple weeks going back and forth with our QA team and make a decision if it will be ready for beta or if it will need to include the second phase in it for the beta release.... so we'll keep you posted. Feel free to follow up with me personally if you're interested in giving it a test drive in a couple months once it's beta ready. kevin at approveme.me

Any update on potential dates for the "next big release"? Or being a beta tester?
-
Thanks Paul... we'll definitely keep that in mind for the future!

This is great news! If there is any chance of being a beta tester for this next big release, please put me on your list. I have a website that would make use of this particular feature immediately. Thanks!

I agree. I can't believe it's not part of the platform. If they don't have concrete plans to add this in the near future, I'll most likely have to get a refund too. :(
Shame, because I finally thought this was the one plug-in that would help my business the most.

This is very simple and needed desperately. I am surprised its been this long with no comment from the ceo / dev team. This platform is a great idea in theory, but it just doesn't work with what my business / credit card merchant requires. We are most likely gonna have to get a refund...
