Input Field Shortcodes
There is no way, through a shortcode, or filter to give a field a value prior to sending for signature.
e.g. text inputs are rendered with
return $this->texttohtml($label, $name, '', $required, false, $verifysigner, $size,$displaytype);
With the third parameter the value.
This needs to be either
a shortcode attribute; or
a filterable value
Ideally, both for ease in shortcodes and dynamism with a filter.

Thanks Mark... Long term it's definitely something we plan on improving and expanding on significantly... Gravity Flow is a fantastic way to speed up the process (with similar results connecting into our api) in the interim and they focus more on advanced workflows especially as they pertain to input fields and data. Taking our input fields to the next level is for sure on the horizon.... but in the meantime we want to do one thing really REALLY well... before we expand other feature sets. For now our main focus is on building out the most easy to use, stable, front-end powered document signing application with PDF upload/drag and drop support that "happens" to be powered by WordPress. :-) Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks Kevin,
Personally, I'm not interested in Gravity Flow or any other integrations (although I don't doubt they'd be cool). I'd just like what you've got to be accessible without having to modify your files.If you have a nice solid foundation that is not too prescrpitive, anything/anyone should be able to join the party, or have what you've got now as a default/fallback.

Thanks Mark this is great feedback... while we will be completely overhauling our input field features in our 2.0 front-end version... we have started preparing an integration with gravityflow.io and hope to have something available with them (that would definitely help you achieve your end result) in the coming weeks/month.
