Add parameters to URL redirect from form fields
Using the gravityforms add-on, I pass a hidden ID (that corresponds to the filename of a PDF that I redirect the user to after signature is completed).
It would be nice to append the gravityform field onto the URL redirect, such as...
http://bucket.s3.amazonaws.com/[esiggravityformid=1field_id=8].pdf
The purpose behind this is that I have hundreds of forms that I need people to sign before they can access them. Instead of creating hundreds of stand-alone wp e-signature forms, I made just one that passes along an id in the URL parameters.
It'd be nice to pass that ID to the URL redirect.
Thanks Chris… we’re heavily considering and preparing our 2.0 with a user friendly API in mind. While I don’t yet have a release date it’s looking more and more like we’ll be able to start beta for the first phase of 2.0 sometime shortly after the holidays. The API will likely follow after the 2.0 release.

I'd really like to be able to pass some Gravity Forms variables along in the redirect URL as well so that some fields on the redirect page can be pre-populated. Seeing the age of this suggestion dashes my hopes of it's imminent arrival, though.

Hey any update, trying to pass a variable to stripe checkout after someone signs contract for payment. via CF7, I've tried to add in the [variable ] like in the form fill section to end of redirect URL but that doesn't seem to work.

Hi Kevin,
Where is the reply from your dev on "how-to" do it? Many people still aviating this. All forms plugins have this option prebuild, but give as a code for now.

Hi -
How did you get this to work? I am not having any luck. -
Awesome glad to hear you got it sorted... I spoke with our dev yesterday and he was planning on replying in here today to let ya know how to do just that. :-) We'll have to add some documentation for this in the future.

Yes, I have confirmed that this works perfectly. Basically, build the form in Gravity Forms, use the URL parameters, then when they hit submit, it takes them to the e-signature form which is sort of like a confirmation page. Works perfectly.

Now that I think about it, couldn't this already be done via the Gravity Forms WP Esign plugin? The URL with all of its pre-filled parameters leads them to the Gravity Form page. From there, when they hit Submit, it THEN takes them to the Signature page if I am not mistaken.

I would like to give this 1000 votes! I would love to be able to take the url to where our standalone form is, and add the variables with pre-filled info like the OP suggests. Would be so much easier to create 1 standalone form, and have certain data pre-filled based on the URL.
