Database Management
We already have 2100 documents in our database and our standalone documents have to be filled out again each year (Membership Application and Waiver). Need the ability to export/archive documents. Delete by date ranges, etc....
These are great ideas and we will review them for future updates. The export of multiple documents poses unique challenges that we are considering different options for. Since the server needs to generate PDF’s for each one it can be very time consuming and resource hungry. Most of our clients servers would have issues exporting multiple documents sequentially.

This is a very critical feature for us too. Just like the original requester mentioned, we do have a VPS and we have >3500 documents ready to be deleted in less than 6 months.
E-sign has been very effective but also becoming a resource hog due to all the documents. what would be better is if somehow we can create a daily backup of documents to google drive or dropbox and have a scheduled delete option.
Please don't drop all tables and recreate them. Bringing documents back might be too much of a resource hog. We should have an option to delete based on date range

Thanks for the feedback! We will keep this thread updated if we make plans for implementation. We are currently working on a new import/export tool that may help. With this you could export you all of you document data as an XML file before dropping all the esignature tables and re-installing. This method would delete all documents and settings but it would keep them as back up if you ever needed to restore them.

In my case I am looking at deleting 2100+ documents for the next season. Those that have database needs of this type generally have VPS. Deleting is the most important in my particular case, but batch dump to a directory and remove would be even better. Then I could move them offline myself.
