Api for WP E-signature
Would be nice with some kind of documentation or API so that we can make an API integration.
We are actively working on adding this feature to our 2.0 product.

In absence of an API: When we looked at the product we were told that we could feed a form template (Gravity form, or generic ESignature form) with a REST query (basically a form link with pre-existing field values in name/value pairs). Where is the documention for this, or better yet, an example of doing a form post from an HTML5 form (no Gravity stuff) to populate a form template.

Adding a +1 on this.
The ability to create documents, even from a template, would be a game-changing feature. Given the documentController.php has all the necessary functionality, a REST API is not beyond a huge development scope. The issue, however, is on the whole ApproveMe relies heavily on the $POST array for nearly everything it does.
Its been three years since this topic was opened so it really should be in place by now.

@Kevin
I am still waiting for a reply regarding the ETA on the release of 2.0.
I've got a few questions.
1) If we've already purchased the premium plugin would we be required to purchase the 2.0 release? (If the answer is yes then that's just taking the piss).
2) When is it being released?
I'd appreciate if I get a reply as its been more than a year since your last comment (April 13, 2017).
As I've commented twice since then and have not had replies I am not leaving you alone regarding this.
G'day.

@Kevin
Any ETA on the release of the 2.0 product?
As paying customers we deserve a rough time frame at the least, we've all paid quite a bit of money for the plugin and I believe we could all do with some updates on when we can expect a public API.

Need an API to check if a website user has signed the Terms and Conditions, so that I don't keep showing them.
The user could be a guest or child of the user, so auto-registration does not solve the problem.
I cannot force guests of the user or their minor children to sign up to my website.
But, my insurance requires all participants to have signed, or their parent/legal guardian.A simple function called:
bool function is_signed($document_id, $email);

Any updates on this? It's been almost a year since your last comment. I also have a long list of things I'd like to automate. A REST API would be ideal. Do we have any updates on possible release date of an API?

any development on this.

Agreed, I personally have a long laundry list of things to automate once an API is available. I expect many others do as well, as there are countless ways each organization manages its legal contract process flows.

Thanks guys! We plan on making the API public in the near future. There's still a few major components to core we want to have finalized before making things public. We really do appreciate your feedback and will definitely keep you posted.

It would be really great to have webservices / api's for document insertion, signing documents and for reporting purpose.

Would be nice to have an API that we could call the functions like adding a new document information with html insertion into the plugin itself. That would be easier to create a API ourself.
