Add-On: PDF Upload / Drag and Drop
As an admin user I would like the ability to upload PDFS and drag and drop where the signer input fields should go on the pdf so that I can easily upload pdfs.
- Admin will be able to upload PDF
- Admin will have access to signer input fields
- Panel will be easy to use and include drag and drop functionality
- Database will save info inputed from user
We are currently working on this feature.

I am in the midst of checking out different e-sign services for a client's mental health services website and this plugin is exactly what I am looking for, but....the lack of being able to upload PDF's that I have already taken the time to add fillable fields to is preventing me from fully embracing this plugin. If you could release this feature (sooner rather than later), that would be awesome! And please afford us the ability to preserve the custom fillable fields we have made in our PDF's so it saves us time. Some of the forms I just finished doing this for are 13 pages long. Most of which require input from the user. I really do not want to have to do this all over again just to use this plugin.
Thanks!

This is the one feature missing that keeps me from buying the plug-in today. Due to legal and governmental requirements, I am forced to use existing forms in a PDF format, and only when I can have those forms digitally signed, will I be able to implement your solution. Please notify me when you have added this functionality.

I have custom made PDF templates as well as some real estate documents that must be in their original format. This is the reason I gladly pay $15/m for HelloSign...it's super fast and easy to sign any document....although on their site. I love the idea of hosting the signature platform on my own branded site. So if this is not released soon, I won't be able to use this plugin at all. If it's realistic for it to be released in the next few months, I'd rather just wait for it to be developed and the bugs worked out before I use this plugin. Thanks for starting to create an alternative however.

Hey Nate!
Thanks for taking the time to hit reply! We value your input and feedback.
As far as a timeline goes for the PDF add-on... we're currently in the process of completely redesigning the dashboard (making it more user friendly and more like a document signing application than a basic Wordpress plugin).
After we release this update, our team will focus 100% on the PDF add-on.
Though it's challenging to estimate software development, I would (roughly) estimate that we will publicly release it somewhere in the end of Q2 or somewhere in Q3 of this year.
Re: Security we have multiple security fallbacks and authentication methods that in many ways are more secure than a PDF that would be stored on a server.
Here's a breakdown of a few of the security fallbacks:

PDF forms is really important for legality reasons, having the actual form to sign on and not some text based template we create in Wordpress is so important. When do you plan on releasing this feature?

Hi Luis,
We're sorry to hear you feel that way. We have one more major release (more intuitive user interface/experience) which will actually pave the way for us to build out the PDF upload/drag and drop add-on.
I assure you creating the PDF upload feature is as much of a priority for us as it is for you. :)
In the meantime have you checked into converting PDF's into plain text documents using a free service like:

The reality is that without the ability to upload pdf's, the software is useless.

That would be absolutely usefull!

Yes! This would be perfect and solve my issue of needing to add ensign functionality to forms which look exactly like the current paper forms in use.
